No. Sushi Lover on Broadway is all you can eat. And so is Island Sushi in Depere. Kokos is a higher quality sushi though.

Great menu and service. The food is very good 👍. Try the tempura 🍤 vegetables they are awesome. We had two rolls and Nagiri they were great. Kokomo has a full bar and a excellent atmosphere with the big tree in the middle of the restaurant. The service is excellent.
The best sushi roll here in my opinion and my wife is that Godzilla roll. The service is often very slow. Very very slow especially on the weekends/evenings (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Even if you call ahead order takeout the takeout seems to often take longer than they estimate. This seems to be one of the top to sushi places in the Green Bay area. But if you’re trying to get a quick bite this place is not for you.Service is OK. My wife and I will definitely go here again but The main take away I want you to remember from this review is the service is often **very slow**.
My husband and I love this place. The drinks are amazing (I would definitely suggest the Blood Orange Bellini remains sparkling however). So many varieties of sushi and other foods as well like burgers, salmon and noodle dishes. We’re from Appleton but come here whenever we visit Green Bay.
Always the best service and the food is amazing!!
The ambience and atmosphere is relaxing. We met the owners brother who seated us, and our server was kind and always with a smile. We did come a little bit later but we were not rushed out, so we took our time while the restaurant was closing. The only reason why 1 star is missing is because the portions were quite small to what I'm used to. I would understand if it was out-of-this-world but if it's just 'good' then the portions should match the quality. Overall, I'd come back here again with my group of ladies for a night out, but not something I'd treat my self alone to. More of an experiential restaurant to at least try with your group of friends.
Expensive for very low quality sushi. Comparable to all you can eat sushi bar quality. Expensive specialty rolls are mostly cucumber filler with very little fish. I was excited to try the packer backer roll and it did not meet expectations. It was essentially a cucumber roll with yellow rice paper on the outside. Salmon was extremely fishy and of low quality. Decor was beautiful but food was very disappointing.
Great sushi, but service was mediocre. Would have expected better.
Fast and friendly. Great sushi
We went for date night left sushi island because of a hour wait and ended up waiting an hour here too and took them 20mins to bring drinks to the patio ,also patio railings covered with big black spiders at night .are server was nice enough just took awhile to bring drinks and check on us we had to find her at one point ,Atmosphere was really nice
Atmosphere is great. Service when it came to actually getting our main course was extremely slow & the food was decent. Nothing to rave over-the California roll was not the greatest. Some pieces didn’t even have crab so pretty disappointing after waiting over an hour for our food. However, Rochelle was amazing! It was by no means her fault whatsoever, but apologized for the wait a good four times. Should we return we would most certainly want Rochelle as our waitress!
Best sushi for miles. Believe me I've tried them all. Great food and atmosphere!
Atmosphere is pleasant. Waitstaff is friendly. Food was delicious as always. Only thing I wouldn't brag about are the prices, but they are not terrible. Food prices are okay and drink prices are little higher than most.
Great ambiance. The service was great. But that's all they have to offer. The sushi was not great. The proportion of protein to rice is so little that I might as well order a small dish of white rice only. Definitely not worth it if you are there for food.
The Ambiance is very nice. Music is a chill vibe, great food, your choice of various items and you can sit down comfy if you'd like.
Sushi is always delicious. We normally order ahead for take out. Once ordered, it usually takes 20 minutes, which is very reasonable. Often times it is ready sooner unless it is a busy night, then it takes up to 30 mins. Staff is courteous and friendly.
Great tasting sooosh!! Nice atmosphere, amazing menu, great drink list, ridiculously tall backed corner VIP style table seating. Higher than average pricing but worth it for pallets that have graduated from the deep fried salt fat disasters that dot the rest of the cityscape.
Best sushi place atmosphere. The big tree in the center is awesome. A little disappointed at our last visit. It has been a while but we've been there dozens of times for years. Godzilla roll changed - smaller, less topping, less flavo, and no longer worth the price. Others said some of their rolls were the same but some also shrunk in size and/or flavor. I'm a bit leery about going back.
Highly recommend!
Food was great and service was even better!
Our waitress was awesome, she was very helpful and really nice. I think her name was Courtney? His noodles looked really good, and my maki rolls were very fresh and delicious!I wanna go again!
Very good food and very friendly bartender great experience.
Great sushi at a good price. The atmosphere is charming and brings forth the expression of modern art. With both indoor and outdoor seating this is one of the best places in town.
Service was good, sushi was well rolled. Avoid the fried rice.
Great sushi and Paul at the bar is amazing!
By far the best place for FRESH Sushi! Plus the calimari is phenomenal. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. For the price you pay, I'm more than happy to pay those prices. Those people that are complaining about the high price, they're just cheap bums 😅😅
Did takeout for my husbands birthday because they were the only ones doing curbside pick up and both of us were craving it! Didn’t order enough to make us full like we usually get from other sushi restaurants, but what we did order, they were all delicious! I especially live the spicy tuna rolls!
Gorgeous atmosphere! Staff very friendly and genuinely concerned about you while you are there dining with them.
Appetizers were ok but a little pricey, food was a little pricey. Took almost an hour from time ordered to get main meal to table on a Tuesday night and they are not even packed.
Unbelievable fresh tuna on the seared appetizer. However the sushi rolls leave something to be desired on the size of fish! Come on LESS than 1/4 fish and 1/2 inch rice?
Beautiful place, super friendly and go the extra mile staff. Would recommend ✔✔✔✔
Good sushi place in Green Bay. I only wish they had more traditional options.
Funky sushi restaurant in downtown Green Bay. Great variety of rolls. My favorite was the Godzilla roll! Good pork potstickers and delicious plum wine. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I love their fiber-optic tree in the center of the restaurant. That said, the food is delicious. I recommend the hand grenade appetizer, as well as the Godzilla roll, the Bomb roll and the Buffalo roll.
Wounderful food and decorations
Thursday night happy hour until 9 at the bar. Discounted select appetizers and rolls along with select beverages. We had a selection of 6 different items and all were fantastic. The Godzilla rolls were awesome. Paul, our bartender was prompt and friendly. Will definately be back for another Thursday night special.
Amazing bartender. Great recommendations. Food was great too
What an excellent establishment... came in on a whim and was truly surprised with the great bar service [Paul] and exceptional food and incredible live music [Fusion Express Orchestra]... if you are ever in the area for good food outstanding service than Koko is a must visit if your Green Bay places
This place was fantastic years ago. It had the best sushi in Green Bay but also topped any other place I’d been in Chicago, Vegas and LA. I was confused when I went a few years ago and the sushi rolls seemed much smaller and the customer service was rude and not accommodating. I found out they were under new management which was not a surprise. Went back again to give it another shot and same thing- HORRENDOUS customer service and below average meal. There are quite a few new sushi places in the area and all of them are better than KoKos.
Very disappointed charged for items I ordered and never received and items I did get where so bad I could not eat!!!Do not order food from them
Such a cool atmosphere with delicious fresh sushi!
Koko is on the pricey side, but if you are a mixed couple/group for tastes, it's perfect. Where else can you get a good burger and good sushi in the same restaurant in Green Bay? The lit-up tree in the entrance is beautiful.
We like a lot hanging out. Last night we came to this delicious place which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful evening there with first-rate meal and an efficient crew and a talented cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt visit again very soon. Highly recommended.
Overpriced for the quality of food.Great atmosphere.
Sushi is comparable to most of the other sushi joints around here, which is good. What sets this place aside is it's atmosphere and vibe. If you love sushi and haven't been here then I suggest that you give it a try.
Food was great. Service was a problem initially. Had to talk to the manager after waiting 15 minutes after being seated to get service. After that, it was good.
We went there last week and it was the worst sushi and service we ever had. The raw fish was not fresh. The rice in the rolls was dry. We ordered the edamame and there was so much salt you literally had to brush it off to try and eat it and it took forever to make it to our table. We ordered ice tea and the waitress never brought it. Very slow service and the waitress never checked back till we were ready to leave. It was not a busy time either. The waitress tried to give us a free dessert but at that point we just wanted to leave. We will never go back. 👎🏻
This used to be my go-to sushi place when I lived in GB 5 years ago. Upon moving back, I HAD to make a bee-line for my favorite spicy tuna roll. Unfortunately, it was double the price and not very good at all. The spicy tuna roll had cayenne pepper on it in place of the typical spicy sauce and it was so hard to swallow. I only ate two pieces. The dragon roll was slightly better, but still pretty average. The cocktail I got was $15 (!) and was a glorified shamrock shake. I couldn't even taste the alcohol. I don't think we'll be going back.
Koko's was my first experience with Sushi, based upon my son's recommendation. What an awesome experience it was! The varieties we ordered were amazing.
By far my favorite place to get sushi. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at this establishment. You can expect to wait a little while to get sushi, but when it arrives to your table you will find it's worth the wait. I love how many options there are for all kind of people. I personally don't consume raw sushi, so I'm really glad that they have lots of options for cooked sushi. I also really love that they give a great free birthday dessert. One gripe I have is that there aren't many promotions or coupons out there, but I don't mind paying the money for quality!
My wife had suggested we stop at kokos sushi lounge for lunch while we were in town at winterfest. I am not a fan of fish, specifically raw lol.I was not intrested. However I read your menu and saw you had burgers and fried rice. I told her we would go give it a try. When I got there I looked at your menu closer. I had tried a few slices of spicy tuna roll at Morimotos at Disney in florida once and remembered I liked it. I saw the interesting roles on your menu. At that point I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try some sushi. I tried that godzilla, the spicy tuna, and another roll. They were fabulous.!! I am so glad we stopped I had a great experience eating sushi for the 2nd time. I will definitely order more sushi from kokos we will be back!! thank you for the great service and great dining experience !!
Very good sushi. I also enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake dessert. Yum.
